<p>This clock is based on an old idea of mine that I was reminded of after reading Seneca&#8217;s &#8220;On the Shortness of Life&#8221;. Having only a second hand, its purpose isn&#8217;t to tell a specific time, but to describe the passing of time and remind the viewer not to waste those ticking seconds.</p>
<p>I&#8217;d like to make a watch of a similar design, so if anyone sees a likely candidate for modification, let me know.</p>
<p>This clock was created for an instructor of mine, Raymond Maxwell, in Seattle, Washington on 2010-06-06.</p>
