This clock is based on an old idea of mine that I was reminded of after reading Seneca’s "On the Shortness of Life". Having only a second hand, its purpose isn’t to tell a specific time, but to describe the passing of time and remind the viewer not to waste those ticking seconds.
I’d like to make a watch of a similar design, so if anyone sees a likely candidate for modification, let me know.
This clock was created for an instructor of mine, Raymond Maxwell, in Seattle, Washington on 2010-06-06.
This is my ridiculous business card based on Wile E. Coyote’s. I wanted to make them with no contact information so they just read “Scott J. Garner, Genius”, but I chickened out and put it on the back.

This is a shirt design I did for Lion’s Share Industries first run of vegan shirts built around the theme of “flight”. You can also view the full design if you like. Apparently I’ll be modeling it soon. Fancy.

These are my comics from Hourly Comic Day 2010. They’re a lot like last year’s, only with less excitement and adventure. You can view them at Flickr or the HCD Forums.

This is a personal series of photography and typography explorations created during the summer of 2009 in Seattle, Washington. For final display, each image was printed on archival matte paper, mounted on wood and then varnished to be featured in my first art showing, Remember December.
These logos were developed for my Professional Practices class at Cornish College of the arts in Seattle, Washington. They were completed on 2009-11-25 using Maxon Cinema 4D and Adobe Photoshop.
These are pages for a book I wrote and illustrated for Children’s Book Illustration at Cornish College of the Arts. It’s a little difficult to show here since you read it from both directions, but here are both halves split into two images.
The book was competed in Seattle, Washington on 2009-04-28.
These are illustrations from a pop-up book I built for a children’s book illustration class. Designing the popup mechanics was kind of a mess, but I pulled it off.
