This is a proof-of-concept short I did to test out some ideas I have for my final thesis project. There are still a million little errors and problems, but I’m ready to move on to bigger and better things. It was completed in Seattle, Washington on 2009-12-17.
This is the final result of the Shakespeare Showdown project (http://shakespeareshowdown.com/), in which people voted through several rounds to determine the most tragic figure in all of Shakespeare’s works. It was completed in Seattle, Washington on 2009-12-15. The rest of Team Shakespeare is Paul Barkshire, Jin Kong, Maré Odomo and Blake Wilton.
Here’s a the first prototype of the Piano Gloves I’ve been working on. They’re ultra-simple at this point, but I learned a lot in the process of making them and have a lot of ideas for new features on both the software and hardware side of things.
This prototype was created using Arduino and Processing in Seattle, Washington on 2009-12-04.
This is a personal series of photography and typography explorations created during the summer of 2009 in Seattle, Washington. For final display, each image was printed on archival matte paper, mounted on wood and then varnished to be featured in my first art showing, Remember December.
My very first art show is now up at the Madrona Vérité Coffee/Cupcake Royale in Seattle, Washington from December 1 to December 31st. I’m planning a reception on Friday, December 11 at 6pm and will post details as they become available.
Each of the mounted, varnished pieces in the show is available for $100. I’m also selling a limited series of prints of each piece in my Etsy Store for $12 each.
There’s a little blurb about the work at Joey Veltkamp’s site Best Of, too.
Massive thanks to Maré Odomo, Leslie Kam, Jin Kong, Tony Evans and Beth Olsen for all of their help and support.
