One and Twenty

This is the second half of a two-part assignment in which we were to first take a short passage from a song or poem and create an all-analog poster that matched the mood and content using only type. We then had to create a short stop-motion animation of the same. I chose a passage from A.E. Housman’s A Shropshire Lad and animated it on an overhead projector. This animation was completed in Seattle, Washington on 2008-04-28.

SIFF Animation (Snack Attack)

This is part of a project done for my Sequential Communications class at Cornish College of the Arts in which City Arts Magazine commissioned student films for the Seattle International Film Festival. I acted as director and animator and had one crew member to do character design to my specifications and other odds and ends. It was completed using Adobe After Effects and Adobe Flash (among other things) in Seattle, Washington on 2008-04-27.

Downtime Still

Downtime
This is a frame from a motion graphics title sequence I did for my Digital Motion Effects class. The assignment was to create credits for a fictional television show or film and I chose to take the ticking of a clock and explore its application throughout an urban setting. This work was completed using After Effects in Seattle, Washington on 2008-04-27

The full animation is also available.
